🌿 Parents Guide to Tunket's Tales

Big lessons from little paws.

Welcome to Bloomfield County — where every story grows

a little heart, courage, and curiosity.

💛 About Tunket’s Tales

Tunket’s Tales is a heartwarming story series set in Bloomfield County, a vibrant animal community where kindness, friendship, and curiosity lead every adventure.
Each tale follows Tunket the young jaguar and his friends — Olive the Owl, Bego the Turtle, Gribbit the Frog, Brie and Colby the Mice, and many others — as they learn meaningful lessons about empathy, teamwork, and self-discovery.

Every story is written with a simple moral and gentle humor to help children connect life lessons with imagination and play.

🏡 For Parents & Caregivers

Tunket’s Tales was created to make storytime both fun and meaningful.
Each short story is built to:

  • Encourage social-emotional learning (SEL) through empathy, patience, and friendship.

  • Model problem-solving and positive communication.

  • Spark conversation between parent and child after each story.

  • Support early literacy with rhythm, repetition, and age-appropriate vocabulary.

✨ Our stories are designed to be read aloud — bedtime, classroom circle time, or anytime your child needs a little inspiration.

🌈 How to Use the Stories

Here are some simple ways to make the most of Tunket’s Tales at home:

1. Storytime Conversations

After reading, ask open-ended questions:

  • “What do you think Tunket learned?”

  • “Have you ever helped a friend like Olive did?”

  • “How would you feel if you were Bego in this story?”

These help children connect emotions to experiences.

2. Printable Activities

Your Tunket’s Tales membership includes access to:

  • Coloring Pages 🎨 — Encourage creativity and fine motor skills.

  • Curiosity Corner Printables 📚 — Explore simple science, nature, and kindness challenges.

3. Songs & Sing-Alongs

Listen to story-inspired songs together!
Each sing-along reinforces story morals through rhythm and repetition — great for memory and language development.

4. Moral Moments

Every tale ends with a short moral — a “thought of the day” to inspire real-life kindness:

“Small tries lead to big triumphs.”
“You don’t have to be big to make a big difference.”
“When you slow down and listen, the world has wonderful things to say.”

Use these as daily affirmations or dinner table topics.
